Congratulations to Tantallon who secured the 2nd Division title courtesy of a 5-0 win away to Thorntree today Sunday 8th February.

And in a fitting finale to a campaign that has seen a few twists and turns, Craigielaw defeated long time leaders Haddington, opening the door for Longniddry to steal second place, and promotion, when they won at home to Whitekirk.

It was a bitter blow for both Haddington who also narrowly failed in their bid for promotion 12 months ago, and Craigielaw who knew their chances of finishing this season in the top two had been dealt a bitter blow when they failed to win at Gifford a fortnight earlier.

So Longniddry finish their season on a celebratory note, whilst Tantallon can now turn their attention to a Cup quarter final next Sunday at Gifford.
