Stalemate at Drumoig leaves East and West leading Counties league

Posted by Torquil McInroy on Oct 26 2014 at 05:00PM PDT in 2019-20

On a stormy Sunday at Drumoig, both matches finished level in the Lothians & Fife Counties league.

In the first match Midlothian snatched a draw courtesy of David Miller & Kieran Cantley's last green win after Dunfermline's Ryan and Alfie Brown had won emphatically for the home team.  The match between West Lothian and East Lothian was declared a draw with all four ties level through nine holes and strengthening wind making the course unplayable.

That leaves East and West tied at the top of the league table, with all to be decided in two weeks time at North Berwick.  East will play Fife on Sunday 9th November with West taking on Mid the same day.
