In the final act of a very long Winter League season, Craigielaw prevailed over North Berwick in the Division 1 relegation play-off played on Sunday 1st April at Gullane No 1.

All five ties were closely contested in the end, although that seemed unlikely early on. Craigielaw's first and fourth pairs raced to 4 hole leads in the front nine.  North Berwick fought back in both, but eventually lost out on the 18th and 17th greens respectively.  In between it was North Berwick that looked to be in control, but Craigielaw salvaged an important halved match in the second tie, whilst Gabrielle McDonald and Guy Dalziel led early at the bottom of the order and held on for a 1 hole win.

So it's Craigielaw that survive in the top flight, whilst North Berwick drop to the 2nd Division for the first time in seven years.
