Kilspindie recorded a narrow home win on Sunday over title challengers Glen to sit top of the pile at the season’s half way point.  But victory didn’t come easily with three of the five ties going to the final green, where home skipper Cameron Gray teamed up with Brian Thomson to steal the points with a last gasp victory over youngsters Sam Hall and Harry Bent in the deciding tie.
Meanwhile North Berwick’s win over Gifford saw the 2013 league champions move up into the promotion places, whilst Haddington remained in touch when they won a tricky away match at Musselburgh Old.  Glen and Winterfield are the other title contendors.
There’s all to play for as the race for promotion hots up.
