A few celebratory drinks were the order of the day after Gullane completed a clean sweep in Division 1, their 3.5-1.5 home win against the Glen making it ten out of ten in the league this season.

Jeff Aitken's team became the first in the league's history to lift the Matthew Black trophy having won all of their matches, and now look forward to next week's Cup final at Craigielaw.

Their feat already matches Royal Musselburgh's run of victories two years ago.  On that occasion Royal lost out to Gullane in the Cup final having already won all of their league matches.  However their run of league success came in the 2nd Division and against rather less stiff opposition.

Now only Cup finalists Longniddry stand between the league champs and a 100% season !
