West Lothian won the new look Fife and Lothians Golf Associations Winter League at Musselburgh on Sunday, despite being on the receiving end of a 4-0 whitewash by host team East Lothian on the day.

The result handed second placed Fife an opportunity to retain their title if they could inflict a heavy defeat on Midlothian. But the defending champions weren't able to deliver and their 2-2 scoreline allowed East to slip into second place on points difference.

So congratulations on lifting the title go to a relieved West team, whilst East will take plenty encouragement from their final showing in this year's competition.
