Defending champions Gullane were handed a home tie against Glen as this year's Cup draw took place this evening at Craigielaw.  Meanwhile there's a chance of a North Berwick-Tantallon clash in the quarter final, should the two first division teams progress against lower league opponents in their opening round matches.

But the pick of the first round ties is due to take place at Longniddry, where the current league champions entertain top flight rivals Musselburgh.

However Cup action isn't due to start until January, by which time no fewer than 55 league matches will have taken place, and much may have changed in the form book...
