The League’s Competitions Committee issued a penalty to Longniddry after the club failed to field a team for it’s home match against Tantallon on Sunday. The Rules do require teams to fulfill all of the fixtures they are drawn to play.
On the same day Musselburgh Old avoided a penalty after the committee accepted their team manager’s decision to call off their match at North Berwick was the right one – one of their team members having come into contact with several other team players, then receiving a positive test result for Coronavirus late on Saturday.
